Mess My Stream has definitely boosted stream revenue. My stream has made more in the first half of this year from it than it made all last year. My community gets to engage much more and have a greater impact on gameplay which I enjoy even if it makes my life harder !
Yes, Mess My Stream work with console games as long as those are being streamed to your PC.
Please refer to the constructors details as to how to stream your console game to your PC :
Note that you won't be able to use PC-specific disruptors such as freezing the keyboard or shaking the mouse.
Mess My Stream works with hundreds of online PC games. However, in the spirit of transparency, we want to let you know that some disruptors that manipulate inputs—like shaking the mouse or freezing the keyboard—might be flagged by certain games' anti-cheat software.
That said, we’ve never heard of anyone being banned for using Mess My Stream. The disruptors are short-lived, designed purely for fun, and don’t provide any competitive advantage—in fact, they make gameplay harder!
To stay on the safe side, we recommend using input-related disruptors cautiously.
Disruptors that don’t interact with inputs—like mirroring or rotating the screen—are completely safe to use.
We’re committed to keeping you informed so you can enjoy Mess My Stream with confidence!
Fullscreen games take priority over other apps on Windows, which prevents Mess My Stream from interacting with them. Running your game in any borderless mode—fullscreen or windowed—ensures the game behaves like a regular window, allowing Mess My Stream's disruptors to function seamlessly.
Some older games don’t support borderless windowed mode, but there are tools available to add this feature.
Apps like Borderless Gaming (available here) works well to enable this mode for many older games. Using such tools can make your game compatible with Mess My Stream.
